Ostathna is a specialised skills development centre in Amman that combines precise assessment, evidence-based methods and partnership with families to create real, measurable progress for children and adolescents across Jordan.

Our mission

To give every learner a fair chance to acquire the skills that open the doors to learning, independence and participation in the community, through individualised programmes built on assessment and measured with data.

Our vision

To be the trusted reference for families in skills development, where success is measured by what the learner can do for themselves in everyday life.

What guides every decision we make

Respect

We see every learner as a whole person with their own abilities and preferences, and we build on them.

Evidence

We don't experiment on your children; we use what research has shown to work.

Transparency

We share the plan, the data and the reports with families clearly and without exaggeration.

Individuality

No two plans are identical, because no two learners are.

Consistency

Progress takes time and consistency, and we commit to the journey all the way.

Partnership

Family, school and centre are one team around the learner.

Who we serve

Who is Ostathna for?

We serve families in Amman and across Jordan's governorates who have a child or adolescent needing support in learning, communication, independence or daily living skills, whether the diagnosis is autism spectrum disorder, developmental or language delay, learning difficulties, ADHD, intellectual disability, or there is no diagnosis yet.

We also work with schools, nurseries and centres that want to build goal and measurement systems for their individual plans, or to train their teams in evidence-based methods and data collection.

Our centre is in Khalda, west Amman, and we welcome you Sunday to Thursday by appointment. The first visit is an introduction with no commitment: we listen, explain how we work, and agree together on the next step.

A multidisciplinary team around every learner

Ostathna's team brings together specialists in special education, communication and life-skills development, united by a commitment to evidence-based methods and continuous learning.
